STEM Week

 For STEM week, our focus was triangles! We had great discussions about the properties of a triangle, thought about where we see triangles in every day life and learnt about the different types of triangles. 

We use our skills to complete a triangle investigation using matchsticks. We were keen to find our how many matchstick we would need







to use to make different triangles.

Our Stone Age WOW day

Year 4 had an incredible WOW day on Friday. We transformed the classroom in to a cave and then decorated it with our incredible cave paintings. To compliment the stone Age dress up that we wore to school, we made our own stone age pendants to wear. Have you ever seen Stonehenge recreated using biscuits? Well, we did just that! It took a lot of patience, resilience and teamwork to create Biscuithenge but they looked fantastic when we finished. During the afternoon, we built a fire and toasted marshmallows over it!
